Job Purpose : Responsible for FHCHC’s 340B drug pricing program integrity. This includes but is not limited to regularly performing audits for internal and external pharmacies, performing purchasing and inventory functions, compiling reports, program education, team competence and building relationships with internal and external pharmacies

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops, executes, and documents self-audits of the 340B process. Coordinates and ensures remediation of findings.
  • Accountable agent for 340B compliance
  • Day-to-day manager of the program and serves as the first-level liaison with the participating 340B Administrators and pharmacies
  • Responsible for documentation of policy and procedures
  • Maintains system databases to reflect changes in the drug formulary or product specifications
  • Manages purchasing, receiving, and inventory control processes
  • Continuously monitors products min/max levels to effectively balance product availability and cost-efficient inventory control
  • Performs annual inventory and monthly cycle counts
  • Ensures compliance with 340B program requirements of qualified patients, drugs, providers, vendors, payers, and locations
  • Monitors ordering processes, integrating most current pricing from wholesaler; analyzes invoices, shipping, and inventory processes
  • Collaborates with Stride CHC’s Credentialing Coordinator and the external Pharmacy Data Informatics Designees to ensure that the PBMs and contract pharmacies have up to date provider lists. Provider lists are updated monthly, on or around the first Tuesday of every month.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 2 – 3 years of experience in a health care setting preferred
  • Experience with 340B software
  • Knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, distribution and price/cost analysis

Required experience:

  • Health Care Setting: 2 years
  • 340B Software: 2 years
